Grip Limited design
For the advertising agency Grip Limited, Johnson Chou wanted to create an informal, blank slate for Grip’s own creative process. He strove to convey an impression of industriousness while avoiding the trendy industrial-loft aesthetic.

His palette of common industrial materials enhances the sense of informality.

Transparent and translucent screens contribute to making a visually accessible, nonhierarchical work environment.

A felt wall divides the public and private zones. The suspended, cocoon-like meeting room acts as a metaphorical hinge between the two wings of the 6,700-square-foot space while adding a surreal touch.

Anacleto: The use of lighting is innovative. This one pushes the envelope. It’s really strong.
