
When it comes to comfort, people often think investing in a great bed makes it all up. No doubt a good bed is a great contributor, but if you have a great design and outlived mattress, it really won’t make a big difference. A great mattress essentially defies the effects of gravity by providing the support your body needs and the eight-hour bliss becomes real!
The market has many names to quote, but a primary research should tell you that latex mattress is one of its kinds in comfort and durability. Photography connoisseurs will recognize the names Annie Leibovitz, Ellen Von Unwerth, Pamela Hanson, Peggy Sirot and Tierney Gearon.
They are among the international female photographers featured in Beyond Compare, a travelling photography exhibition sponsored by Dove (part of the Unilever soap-and-cosmetics conglomerate) as a fund-raiser for the National Eating Disorders Information Centre. “Funky,” may be an overused word, but it springs to mind when describing 3rd Uncle Design’s renovation of the Drake Hotel.
The 110-year-old, formerly down-at-the-heels hostelry along the nether reaches of Queen Street West, has emerged as a hip, happening cultural hub. 3rd Uncle preserved the building’s historic fabric along with much of its weathered patina. Hotel rooms, a bar, lounge, dining room, café, theatre venue, outdoor patios and staff areas were either updated or newly provided. Read the rest of this entry »

For the advertising agency Grip Limited, Johnson Chou wanted to create an informal, blank slate for Grip’s own creative process. He strove to convey an impression of industriousness while avoiding the trendy industrial-loft aesthetic.
